During my recent stay at Kagura, I found the blend of value and comfort commendable for a ski getaway. The location, just 100m from Mitsumata Ropeway, proves advantageous for skiing enthusiasts as they also provide ski equipment rentals and discounted lift tickets on-site. The shared kitchen and relaxed common area, equipped with a table tennis setup, foster a sense of community among guests. The heating system efficiently maintained a warm environment, essential during the chill of winter nights. One notable aspect was the cleaning. Compared to pricier hotels, Kagura's attention to cleanliness stood out, ensuring all shared spaces remained tidy and inviting. While it may lack some of the luxury finishes seen in more upscale establishments, the hospitality of the owners-who went out of their way to assist us during inclement weather-certainly adds character to the experience. A practical choice for families looking to balance comfort with cost in a charming setting.
